Ruca References!

not too picky about outfits. any of the below will do unless specified. please feel free to simplify them. hair can be wavy or straight. hair highlights are optional. staves are interchangeable but he doesn't need to be drawn w one!ruca usually does not wear footgear and i do prefer him to be drawn with "paws" but that is totally up to you! whatever you're more comfortable with!Ruca is a black mage & glass cannon that specializes in fire magic! he will seldom ever use anything else. he is moody, short tempered, quick to lash out. very pouty, lazy, irritable. He has a bad leg (right) so relies on staves for help walking. He will aetherial manip during battle to get somewhere fast but doesn't rely on it for travel. he does like to sit/float on his staves if he gets tired.carrd: https://ruca.carrd.co/

currently (post-EDW + DT) ruca has cut all his hair off! unless specified otherwise please draw him with short hair as pictured above. wavy or straight is fine!if longer hair requested can be straight or wavy. usually has it half up in a bun.
he would never wear all his hair tied back.i usually give him "squoval" shaped nails. they can be black or unpainted.

*Ruca is an intersex male. he has two x chromosomes (XXY). he has a penis and testes. he is not trans but does not conform to typical gender norms.For nsfw comms he can be drawn in underwear too! He typically wears either a plain tank top or bralette and either “boy shorts” or bikini style underwear. Tends to lean more towards simple & cute stuff, some lace, pastel colors or black and white. Tops and bottoms almost never match though.

Here's my hcs for Koana and how I try to portray him nakie...For his and Ruca’s dynamic they’re very vanilla. They very seldom have penetrative sex. More hand stuff, dry humping, generally a lot of kissing. usually always missionary lol. If they do have penetrative sex Ruca typically bottoms (koana coming thru w the aetherstrap) but sometimes they switch it up. Lots of eye and body contact! Ruca likes to take Koana’s glasses off bc they get in the way but Koana likes to leave them on bc he wants to see Ruca!

if you're not familiar w/ ffxiv this is the default player character (WoL) they use in cgs but i added him into Ruca's lore as an npc. (he's ruca's shard from the 2nd... hydaelyn yoinked him out of that reflection just before the joining and threw him into the source beginning of edw to "replace" ruca since he was playing house on the first with granson). he's very generic protag ofc charming guy with a sense of humor. very reliable, heroic, etc.ruca hates his guts.. big time... he doesn't know that meteor is his shard so he feels this unexplainable pull towards him? and gets it confused with sexual desire. so they have a lot of sexual tension and they bicker n argue all the time....meteor is more chill and easy going. he likes to rile ruca up for fun. he's like the only guy that isn't terrified of pushing ruca's buttons so he takes advantage of that lol. ruca smacks him with his staff a lot.regardless of their up and down relationship ruca does end up seeing him as one of his closest friends and one of the only people he feels comfortable talking to since they're both WoLs so meteor knows what its like to have all those expectations and to be kind of alienated from everyone around you because you're "hydaelyn's chosen".

ok here's the love of my life... koana moment...
he's a nerd. he's very serious, gets flustered easily but loves his family and will do anything for the ppl closest to him. i hc him as trans!tl;dr: things were very one sided at first (koana -> ruca) until ruca caught feelings and now they’re both down bad for each other. They’ve been dating for several months and they’re both very busy with WoL and Dawnservant duties but they try to spend as much time together as possible!!nude ref: here if needed! i think it helps to give u an idea of how they are together when it comes to couple comms ok <_<;ruca was very indifferent to koana thru out all of DT msq. ruca just saw him as competition/an annoyance for the most part. literally had 0 interest not attracted to him at all. did not give af! koana is NOT his type!!! Koana didn't feel too strongly about Ruca either but would occasionally ask Thancred and Urianger about him. I do hc him as thinking Ruca is very pretty and intimidating but not really having any strong feelings until after DT when everything has mostly settled down.directly after 7.0 they have a lot of awkward interactions at first, a lot of miscommunication and mixed signals and ruca initially tries to hook up w/ koana bc he's having a rough time and knows koana is into him (thank u lamaty'i). koana turns him down and says he wants to take things slow which frustrates ruca but he agrees bc hes got nothing better going on lol. koana is adamant about taking ruca on dates so this goes on for a few weeks until they cant keep their hands off each other any longer lol. i do hc koana as mostly inexperienced in that department. :)Ruca’s dynamic with Koana is kind of like... summer fling that eventually gets a little too serious. Koana def feels more strongly about ruca than ruca does about him at first. they are currently dating post 7.0 but they're trying to keep their relationship on the down low (wuk lamat knows ofc). so a little bit of sneaking around.ruca isn't fond of his relationships being public so they try to act more professional around each other. ruca does tease him a LOT though thru subtle glances and gestures. koana lowkey wants ruca to stay in tuliyollal with him for as long as possible but the WoL has responsibilities that will take him elsewhere eventually...i also think koana knows this. but he's trying to enjoy every second he gets to spend with that rabbit before he inevitably 1) breaks up w koana or 2) their relationship essentially becomes long distance.

UGHHHHH this is granson. he and ruca were a thing for about 2 years between shb + partially thru edw. they lived together for a little bit but mostly spent their time helping ppl and fighting bad guys or w/e. they are (were?) in love but Ruca had to go back to the source and be the WOL (i guess...) and they left on bad terms.if being drawn with granson ruca should have his long hair unless otherwise specified!Granson does not call ruca a sinner! he called him that once and ruca said NEVER AGAIN! i know that's his like... schtick but ruca refuses to be called that lol.they r disgustingly smitten w/ each other. ruca looks at him like he's his whole world. very tender n soft. ruca used to neg him a lot in the beginning of their relationship but a few months before the breakup ruca got rly affectionate and kind and sweet ;w;.oh and granson is 100% a wifeguy!!!!!!!

IT'S RUNE!He's polite, charming, well behaved. Very outgoing and friendly, willing to lend a hand but tends to keep others at arms length. The closer he gets with someone the more rambunctious/playful he will be. Can get a little snippy when he doesn't get his way. Pretty sheltered, big fan of adventure/exploring the world. Young so he can be a little dumb but he's a quick learner. Fit but lacks endurance. He's a sprinter not a marathon runner!
